Watch: Mike Polizze “Cheewawa”

Mike Polizze is back this month with a new single and video entitled “Cheewawa” from his upcoming Long Lost Solace Find LP due out July 31st via Paradise of Bachelors. Like the album’s lead single “Revelation,” this new cut features a guest appearance from pal Kurt Vile. He explains:

“I wish I wrote ‘Cheewawa’ (guess I’ll have to cover it!). Luckily I got to play harmonica and sing ghost vocals on it… I’ve been waiting for this kinda Polizze.”

The video for the song is an appropriately laid back offering, and it was done by Polizze himself. Describing the effort, he offers:

“’Cheewawa’ was shot and edited in one day during the height of quarantine. On that afternoon, the spring cheer felt eerie against the bleakness of the pandemic. Things don’t seem much better lately, but hopefully this will provide a brief moment of solace.”
